Milena Govich

 

Milena Govich, a Serbian actress, director , and singer was born on on the 29th, 1976. She is well-known for her role in the role of NYPD Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order.

 

 Education and early childhood

 Govich was born in Norman County, Oklahoma. Dr. Bruce Michael Govich (who died in the year 1998) as well as Dr. Marilyn Green Govich [2were both professors of music. Marilyn teaches voice at University of Central Oklahoma, while Bruce was employed at University of Oklahoma. Her mother is English-speaker and her father was Serbian. Milica Govich is her aunt. She has appeared on film, television, and Broadway.

 

 Milena was class valedictorian at Norman High School in 1995. In the footsteps of her academic parents she was able to graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995 as valedictorian. She was awarded a double degree in premedical and performance studies, along with a minor in violin and dance. After her graduation, Govich moved to New York City to pursue an acting career.
